Outreach

What is OUTREACH?

Daughters of Utah Pioneers' Outreach is “to reach out” to the community by representing and honoring the pioneer era in order for citizens to develop a greater understanding, awareness and appreciation for the lives of pioneers and our collective heritage.

Our Outreach goal is to help others learn by extending information, activities, services and education about our Pioneer ancestry and traditions and get them involved where possible - engaging them through programs and other functions such as historical collections, museum visits, parades, educational opportunities, events, pageants, etc. For ideas of possible DUP outreach activities, click here.

Recruiting New Members

Recruiting new Members and Associates is fun. Why did YOU join DUP? Did someone invite you? How did you hear about DUP? As we recruit new members, think of someone in your neighborhood who would be interested in participating in DUP and invite them. Our Members and Associates are the best advertisements for the organization as you shrae the joy you have in your DUP membership with them. Below are some ideas and resources.
