Frequently Asked Questions About the Audio Files:

How can I access the audio music in our meetings without a piano?

Buy a small, inexpensive bluetooth speaker that connects through a frequency to your Android or iPhone. Go to the website isdup.org and click on leadership, then music, then the month, and then on the vocal or accom. icons.

Do I need internet access to be able to play the song on the music website?

Internet access is needed to listen to the audio files. Many people have data plans on their phones that allow access to the internet.

Where do I find the song histories to introduce the song each month?

On the music page, look for and click on the link behind DUP SONG HISTORIES (see above).

How much time is devoted to music in Camp meetings?

Opening theme song: 3 minutes (choose from the three approved theme songs)
Pioneer Monthly Song: 5 minutes (Share a brief history of the song and sing or listen to the song. Use of other instruments to present the song is welcome. Camps may choose to recognize and sing to those with birthdays also during this time.

How can I make monthly sheet music easily available to my camp?

Music leaders may choose to assemble sheet music copies for the year in a three-pronged folder to pass out and collect at each Camp meeting. Funds from the Camp budget may be used to make the folders for each year. This is a helpful suggestion, but not a requirement.
