During the 2026-2027 DUP year, we are challenging all active Companies and Camps to research and report their founding date. This is one of the most frequently asked questions received at International, and we realize our records are lacking. Please help! 

Be aware that what information we have is on the spreadsheet. An alphabetical spreadsheet of our Companies and their Camps for this specific purpose may be found on the link below. A blank in the “Company or Camp Founded” column is where your help is needed.  Some dates appear with a “<” meaning that the founding date was probably prior to the date listed.  No need to respond if the date on the spreadsheet is correct. Challenge all Members/Officers on the Company or Camp level to bring out the boxes of DUP materials! Search local digitized newspaper archives, university archives, and county archives. Research. Rather than calling us, send an email with “founded date” or a “date correction” to:  membership@isdup.org.
