Royalty for 2012 Days of ’47 were crowned Saturday, April 14th, 2012.

2012 Queen is Hannah Marie Blackburn of Centerville, 1st Attendant Christina Keller of Orem and 2nd Attendant Stephanie Romney of West Bountiful. The three royalty were selected by a panel of judges based on talks centered on the Days of ’47 theme, “Pioneers–Building on the Dream.” Their goals, accomplishments, poise, leadership, answers to judges’ questions, and family genealogy with pioneers who came to the Salt Lake Valley between 1847 and 1869 were other qualifications.

Susanne Melinda Savage of Marriott-Slaterville, Utah, received the Annie Taylor Hyde Award, as voted upon by her peers, for her friendship and kindness
